Barry S. Levy, MD, MPH, a physician and epidemiologist, is an adjunct professor of public health at Tufts University School of Medicine and an independent consultant in occupational and environmental health. Dr. Levy has served as a medical epidemiologist with the CDC, a professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and a director of several international health programs and projects. He has written more than 200 articles and book chapters and co-edited 18 books, primarily on occupational and environmental health and the public health impacts of climate change, social injustice, war, and terrorism. He has served as president of the American Public Health Association and has received its highest award.
