As the traditional silos of communication continue to break down, understanding the impact of media convergence is crucial to target and deliver powerful messages to diverse audiences. In our program, students learn how to lead communications strategy for their organizations across a variety of platforms. Through hands-on experiential learning, our expert faculty actively engage in helping students build their skills and advance their careers.
Our curriculum helps students strengthen the foundational writing, verbal, and visual skills needed to be successful in any communications role. Students effectively leverage those skills across traditional and new media platforms. With an interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes storytelling, social media, and data literacy and visualization, students learn to develop and execute strategic communications plans. In addition, the program includes classes on financial aspects of business and organizational engagement, which will enable students to engage and add value at all levels of business.
Our program is designed for those who are motivated to grow and expand their abilities and responsibilities. The program is delivered online through a blend of live face-to-face classes, self-paced coursework, and in-person immersions. Students are able to connect their studies with their current work or volunteer activities and are encouraged to use this experience to fulfill course projects. The program can be completed in as few as 15 months and does not require GMAT or GRE scores to apply.
