Financial Aid

We strongly recommend that MPH@Simmons applicants begin the financial aid process as early as possible. To apply, please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA code for Simmons University is 002208.

The FAFSA must be completed each academic year in order to remain eligible for federal student aid.

Scholarships

MPH@Simmons offers several scholarship opportunities to admitted students. No separate application is necessary. Availability of scholarships and the amounts awarded may vary term-to-term.

Simmons Future Leader Scholarships

All program applicants are considered for Simmons Future Leader Scholarships as part of our admission process. Through this scholarship opportunity, we recognize diverse candidates who will actively participate in the program, meaningfully contribute to their cohorts, and go on to lead in their careers.

We encourage you to apply or contact an admission counselor to learn more about your eligibility for a scholarship.

You may also want to consider pursuing outside scholarships to help fund your education. These may be available through your employer, community organizations, or civic groups. We recommend searching for scholarships as early as possible so you can be adequately prepared for your desired cohort start date.

To offset the cost of applying, attend one of our webinar events and our admission team will waive your application fee.

Military Financial Aid

Simmons offers benefits and financial aid to active duty service members, veterans, and eligible military family members. MPH@Simmons students are eligible for benefits offered through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Benefits may include:

Information about benefits available to service members and veterans is available at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Additional funding for military personnel may also be available. For more information, visit our Veterans Benefits page.

Loan Forgiveness

MPH@Simmons applicants may be eligible to take advantage of scholarships and loan forgiveness programs that can help offset some of the costs of the program. For more general information about student loan repayment, to access loan repayment calculators, and to learn more about loan forgiveness or income-driven repayment plans, please visit the Federal Student Aid website Loan Repayment Information page.

Payment Plans

Simmons also offers a payment plan that students can take advantage of to cover the cost of tuition or supplement any remaining cost not covered by federal or private loans. The Tuition Management Systems® (TMS) tuition payment plan is an interest-free alternative that allows students to spread any balance over three months. Students must sign up for the three-month payment plan well in advance of the bill due date to avoid late penalties. There is a $35 application fee each term that students choose to set up the payment plan. Visit the Tuition Management Systems website for more information on setting up a payment plan.

Our admission counselors are available to speak with you further about additional financial aid options that may be available to you. Contact us at 1-844-622-2872 or email us.
