The Online MSW from the Country’s First School of Clinical Social Work

The first school of clinical social work in the country, Simmons School of Social Work was founded in 1904 as a joint venture with Harvard University. Today, Simmons offers a rigorous clinical social work curriculum that prepares students for direct practice with individuals, groups, and families.

SocialWork@Simmons, our Master of Social Work (MSW) program delivered online, is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and features live, online classes; engaging, self-paced coursework; and virtual and in-person field experiences in or near students’ own communities. SocialWork@Simmons faculty and staff are committed to supporting and guiding students during the program and throughout their social work careers.
