FNP Admission

NURSING@SIMMONS

Nursing@Simmons offers two online Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) programs that prepare licensed nurses to expand their scope of practice and advance their careers.

The online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN-FNP) is designed for licensed registered nurses (RNs) who have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing. This program equips students to become an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and pursue board certification as an FNP.

The online Post-Graduate Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner is designed for licensed, certified APRNs who have a graduate degree in nursing (MSN or DNP). This program equips students to pursue board certification as an FNP.
