Congratulations on your acceptance to the Simmons University School of Social Work! Our online Master of Social Work program prepares you to meet the educational requirements set forth by the Council on Social Work Education and the eligibility requirements to sit for the Association of Social Work Boards Master’s exam.
Read on for important next steps for enrollment, practicum, student resources, and more.
Complete your enrollment:
- Sign and complete your Intent to Enroll document (you will receive this via email)
- Pay your enrollment deposit
After you pay your enrollment deposit
You will need to complete the following tasks before you begin classes. Select each task to view instructions.
- Connect with your Student Success Team: Your enrollment specialist will introduce you to the Student Success Team upon enrollment. You will be supported by a dedicated Student Success Team who will assist with registration, offer guidance as you get started with the Digital Campus, and support your learning experience throughout the program.
- Create your Simmons University User ID: Review the new student checklist provided by your Student Success Team. This checklist offers step-by-step guidance to help you access Simmons University systems, set up your Simmons email, order textbooks, and complete other important tasks as you begin your graduate studies.
- Log into Workday, the student information system: In Workday, you can:
- Register for courses during the registration period
- Review your grades
- Order official transcripts and view unofficial transcripts
- Receive enrollment confirmation
- Update your contact information
- View your tuition and fee balance
- Make a tuition payment
- Plan your finances: If you completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and provided your Social Security number during the application process, you will receive an email containing your federal loan package. Regardless of access to federal loans, you should carefully consider your financial plans for funding your Simmons education.
