Simmons University Email

Set up your university email

After paying your enrollment deposit, you will receive two email messages with instructions on establishing your Simmons User ID and email address. One email contains your student ID number, and the other email contains set-up instructions.

All students are required to use their Simmons University email accounts. Do not wait to activate your Simmons University email. All communication and updates from the University — including your financial aid notifications — will be sent to this address. 

Check your Simmons University email daily for messages about registration, news, events, updates, or announcements from faculty.

What is the Simmons student portal?

The Simmons student portal is Workday. Your Workday account includes access to academic records, billing, financial aid, direct deposit setup, and more. You will need your Simmons ID and password to log into Workday.

How do I set up my Workday account?

Please wait approximately five days after submitting your enrollment deposit to set up your Simmons account. Go to the Email and Password Account Setup Page to activate your account.

Once your account is activated, log in to Workday using the username and password you created during the account activation step.

How do I set up my Simmons email address?

You can access your email account within Workday or directly access your email once you complete your Workday activation. Your Workday and Simmons email username and password are the same.
