Individual states establish their own rules, standards and procedures regarding the licensure of Behavior Analysts. We encourage students to research the licensure requirements for the state(s) in which they plan to reside and practice as a Behavior Analyst, which may include course requirements or hours not covered by BehaviorAnalysis@Simmons, and/or post-graduate requirements needed to maintain licensure.

If you have any preliminary questions associated with professional licensure you may contact a member of our Admissions and/or Student Success teams:

You may also reach out to your state regulating authority with questions or for clarification about specific licensure requirements.  The following link is provided to assist prospective and current students in their research on state Behavior Analyst Licensing/Regulating Authorities.
