Connect with Student Success
The Student Success Team is your first point of contact for help or questions about the online program, including the online campus, registration, curriculum, and more. You will receive a call from your Student Success Team to walk you through your program orientation, review onboarding steps, and explain the ongoing support available to you throughout your time in the program.
Welcome call
Your orientation process starts with a welcome call from your Student Success Team. During this call, you will go over the basics for getting started and receive an overview of the orientation process.
Student Success planning
This process will begin with a 30-minute conversation with your Student Success Coach, designed to help them get to know you better, both as a person and as a student. This conversation enables your coach to provide personalized support as you pursue your Simmons MSW degree. During the call, you’ll discuss your goals for the program and your future career as a social worker, review your personal and professional commitments, and develop an organizational plan for your first semester.
Ongoing support
Support from your Student Success Team continues throughout your time at Simmons. After onboarding and orientation, you’ll have regular opportunities to connect with your Student Success Team to track progress toward your goals, address any challenges that arise, reflect on your experience, and plan for your next semester. Be sure to save the contact information for both your Student Success Team and your dedicated Student Success Coach so you can stay in touch each term.
