SWO-483 Cognitive Behavioral Approaches and Treatment
The object of this course is to provide a working knowledge of the basic principles and specific techniques of a contemporary multimodal approach to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), with consideration of its integration with other therapeutic approaches such as dialectic behavior therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction. Issues presented include depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, phobias, psychosis, and working with children and adolescents.
Prerequisite is SWO-421A.
