Simmons School of Social Work was founded in 1904 as a joint venture with Harvard University, to train social workers to create meaningful change for individuals, families, and communities.
SocialWork@Simmons — our online Master of Social Work (MSW) program — welcomes a new generation of social advocates into the Simmons community and empowers them to address the most pressing issues affecting our society.
SocialWork@Simmons is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Powering Progress With Scholarships
We are committed to providing the accessible, high-quality education social workers need to make a positive, lasting impact on their communities. Scholarships are available for our upcoming cohort — no additional application required.
Simmons MSW students and alumni are dedicated advocates who work to empower all individuals, especially those who have been historically marginalized or oppressed. Our rigorous curriculum, developed and led by expert Simmons faculty, incorporates social justice values and a multicultural perspective to prepare students for direct practice in a wide range of clinical settings.
