MBA@Simmons, the Master of Business Administration program delivered online from Simmons School of Management, prepares professionals to be successful in leadership and management roles across all areas of business. While women make up 47 percent of the workforce, they only account for 15 percent of executive roles1. With a unique emphasis on women’s leadership and diversity in the workplace, MBA@Simmons helps students understand and recognize gender-based obstacles and develop tools to overcome them. Our rigorous, practice-based MBA program integrates strategic, functional, and behavioral aspects of management, empowering students to lead in a wide range of dynamic global environments.
Continuing To Be at the Forefront of Change
For more than 100 years, Simmons College has been dedicated to promoting inclusion and empowerment in the workplace, particularly for women. This dedication led to the creation of the MBA program in 1975 and the establishment of the Center for Gender in Organizations (CGO), our academic research institute serving as a fundamental call to action, in 1996.
The School of Management has built a reputation as one of the premier institutions in the nation for women’s leadership development through residential, online, and executive education programs. Our entire community, backed by research from the CGO, firmly believes that diversity drives greater business success. As such, MBA@Simmons welcomes qualified students of all genders, ages, and ethnicities.
In addition to building a diverse community of leaders, our program prepares students to apply new skills in all business settings. Students share their unique perspectives in our online classrooms, connect face-to-face with renowned Simmons faculty, and are able to immediately apply complex business concepts learned in class to their day-to-day jobs.
